A gift to the Mill Creek MetroPark Foundation's Endowment Fund will provide for the lasting care of Mill Creek. Your gift can either be designated for particular areas of the MetroParks or can be used by the General Endowment Fund. 

Named Endowments: While gifts in any amount can be contributed toward endowment funds, contributions of $100,000 or more qualify for naming an endowment. There are multiple ways to give to Mill Creek: 

Cash:  

• Can deduct up to 60% of your adjusted Gross Income (AGI) for tax purposes. 

Stocks, Bonds, and Mutual Funds: 

• Avoids capital gains taxes
• Mill Creek MetroParks Foundation receives the full value of the assets (Mill Creek MetroParks is a non-profit and does not pay capital gains taxes). 

Retirement Accounts (IRAs, 401(k)s, 403(b)s and pension plans):

• Donors can gift up to $100,000 annually from a traditional IRA to the Mill Creek MetroParks Foundation. 

Planned Giving Through Estate: 

• Bequests in your will or trust
• IRAs make excellent gifts to the Mill Creek MetroParks Foundation at death (name the Mill Creek MetroParks Foundation as the beneficiary).
• Gifts of Insurance by transferring ownership on an existing policy or establishing a new policy naming the Mill Creek MetroParks Foundation as the beneficiary. 
• Charitable Gift Annuity (CGA) provides the donor income for life with tax advantages.
